Hawn State Park

Hawn State Park offers excellent opportunities for the day hiker with three trails including one that visits the Pickle Creek Shit Ins. The origins of the River Auxvasse flow from the pine savannah where you will also find the native rose azalea, it's pink blossoms mixing with the redbud and dogwood in the spring. Pickle Springs Conservation Area is a short drive from the Park and offers an excellent interpretive trail that adds to the overall experience.
